Bod Ayre's Best Garden Competition 2011 has been judged this year by Norma, Heleanor, Joyce and Anna from the Vidlin SWRI. The winners are now listed in our Garden Competition section complete with images for you to enjoy. Thankyou to all who nominated/entered this year, and hope you will do so again next year. We hope the winners enjoy their trophies, and make good use of the seaweed plant foods! Special thanks to the judges for giving their time and to Bert for being both their chauffeur and photographer - it is really appreciated.

Our new product - Edible Seaweeds - for human consumption, is now available. Initially we are producing ground edible seaweed which can be added to soups, stews, casseroles, and can be used instead of salt. The product is harvested sustainably, using no machines, and dried using energy generated from our Wind Turbine.

There was an excellent article in the August issue of Kitchen Garden Magazine about Bod Ayre Products and our Seaweed Fertiliser, Seaweed Feeds, Seaweed Extract and Seaweed Animal Feeds, and entitled Shetland Seapower - which is definately worth a read.
